I’m still seeing shows/movies—set in modern day or even future—where a pic or recording is treated as instant proof, where IRL I say “Is that AI generated?”

I guess AI achieving (occasional) realism is still newer than the typical Hollywood production cycle. It won’t be for long

It’s the paradox of restrained judgment. “Consuming yet not consuming.”

It’s a picture of what grace means. “Blessed is the man against whom the Lord counts no iniquity” Ps 32:2

Matthew 16:11-12 This might be a good verse to show flat earthers that not everything in Scripture is literal.

Since Sinai 3,500 yrs ago, two main factors have changed to make tolerance a good thing:

1. Christ offers substitutionary holiness

2. For now, God is more distant

In an ultimate sense, his demand for holiness has not diminished. He alone decides when and how to impose that.

Exodus 32:29 - This logic may seem alien or even evil to many readers who rightly love diversity and hate violence. But when God was physically present, making a home among men, his authority and demand for holiness superseded everything.

Exodus 10:10 - Not sure why I never realized this before, but the reason Pharaoh here is using “The Lord be with you” as a curse is probably because all he knows about the Hebrew God is terror/anger/judgment/disaster.
