Echoing this - recently found myself unknowingly flinging myself into CAD and 3D printing, while blocked on other creative things, and it has been so restorative. I've made loads, and I have dipped back into the things I was blocked on, and they're feeling more attainable to me again <3

There's a new Linux-only proprietary image editor called Fog Panther. Do not install it, it's AI-generated slopware. It breaks file associations on your system and can't be uninstalled normally.

Krita will stop working outright, you won't be able to open files. Other programs may misbehave.

I am alwaaaaays pushing friends towards Grant Abbitt, he is infinitely better than the AI/NFT-shillin' waster that does the donut BS. I tried the donut first, and honestly the videos annoyed more than taught. I find Grant's methods to be so accessible and reusable <3

Donut tutorial is often the first exercise that people attempt, but it is not only teaching you bad, it also gives a click to a nft, now also AI weirdo.

I recommend Grant Abitt, this man single handedly made me love Blender and I actually modeled a few things on my own since the well tutorial.
