The UK Government banned smoking for people born in 2009 or later.

Why not ban Water Companies polluting, Energy Companies ripping you off, or NHS Privatisation as well?

"Almost every feather sample tested from five common species of UK garden birds contained either permethrin, imidacloprid or fipronil – all insecticides that are banned for agricultural use but still common in pet tick and flea treatments."

Orange tip butterfly on a cuckoo flower

Orange tip butterfly on a cuckoo flower

Please consider letting a little patch of garden grow wild, as this allows wildflowers to grow. Some wild plants - like dead nettle, nettles and cuckoo flower - are vital food plants for moth and butterfly caterpillars.

A wind turbine will generate 27x more energy than it takes to build.

A solar panel will generate 40x more energy.

Neither use any fuel.

There is already infinite energy generators.

Capitalism is where you put the greediest most evil people in control of everything.

And the only way they can be replaced is by someone even more evil and greedy.

It's the devil's own system.

A dead Puffin lies on wet sand, its black and white feathers darkened and slick against the beach. The bird rests on its side, wings folded, with its distinctive orange bill clearly visible against the pale sand.

Heartbreaking: Right now, thousands of Puffins are washing up along our coasts and further afield.

It is devastating to see.

These birds are Red-listed in the UK and already under serious pressure.

Mass deaths like this, known as a “seabird wreck”, can take years for colonies to recover from...

Hoverfly on orange calendula flower

Instead of using chemicals, attract beneficial insects like hoverflies to keep aphids and whiteflies in check. Nectar-rich planting, wildflowers and areas of long grass will bring beneficial insects into your garden.

Rare butterflies bounce back after landowners in Wales cut back on flailing hedges More than 300 brown hairstreak butterfly eggs were recorded in hedgerows near Llandeilo this winter after decade of decline

Cut blackthorn hedges less often = boost brown hairstreak butterflies. Really simple, cost-free (or even money-saving) measures can massively benefit wildlife. www.theguardian.com/environment/...

Government quietly released a report today. Just 3% of the most important habitat for wildlife is in good condition.

This must change or wildlife will be lost forever.

Don’t let this report slip under the radar: assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/697206...

For years, experts have warned that nature loss would become a security threat.

Now a national security assessment confirms it: biodiversity collapse risks food shortages, economic instability and global disorder.

Nature underpins our global safety. So why is UK Government failing to protect it?

Just a month ago the UK agreed to a deal in which the NHS has to pay £3bn a year more for US drugs.

The only thing we got was an agreement the UK would face no tariffs.

Today that deal has been broken by the USA.

The deal must be torn up and no money stolen from the NHS.

Palantir is working with ICE.

Why the hell are we giving Palantir our NHS information.

Palantir need to be banned from UK Goverment, just like the Swiss banned them from theirs.

Government’s wildlife targets will be missed in England, watchdog says Seven out of 10 targets have little likelihood of being met by 2030, Office for Environmental Protection says

Utterly damning report from Office for Environmental Protection - the Govt’s not only missing its targets to protect wildlife in England, it’s also failing on *almost all* environmental measures - and in some cases actively destroying the natural world through its obsession with growth at all costs

Uruguay’s Renewable Charge: A Small Nation, A Big Lesson For The World Uruguay built a power grid that runs 99% on renewables—at half the cost of fossil fuels. Here’s how its bold energy overhaul became a global model.

“Uruguay did what most nations still call impossible: it built a power grid that runs almost entirely on renewables—at half the cost of fossil fuels. The physicist who led that transformation says the same playbook could work anywhere—if governments have the courage to change the rules.”
