Didn’t expect to be reunited with an old friend. This was the first book I ever read on cult movies.

I grabbed it for one of our regular Bad/B-Movie nights, expecting awful shlock. Then we realised is was a comedy movie and i was even more worried (we avoid bad comedies, as it's just not fun).

Luckily it just turned out to be good! Nice surprise.

"Terrorvision" are also my favourite band!! 😆🤘

Famously terrible Ed Wood film that spawned a cult following. In reality, it's perfectly fine: its biggest drawback is how cheap it all looks. But there's invention and a lot of fun here, from the bonkers plot to the campy performances. Enjoyable fluff.

A ½ review of Things (1989) This isn't even a movie. This is a series of vignettes filmed by someone who just got their first camera. It's not worth your time. It wasn't even worth the director's time. Most shot on video horror ...

Last night's shot on VHS horror was Things (1989).

What a bad movie. Even in a genre that gets insane grace for its grit and heart Things has none of that. It's just bad.

dunno why this popped into my head, but i'm suddenly compelled to hit play on it for the first time in years. #nowwatching dead heat (1988), because the only good cop is a dead cop.

Dude who was this movie made for? We could've had a Warriors esque gang story where the last of the Double Dragon gang tries to rescue one of their girlfriends. Instead we get a Mad Max world with magic medallions. It does qualify as a so bad its good though.

In 2018 famous dancer, the former lead of "Riverdance", the "Lord of the Dance" himself, Michael Flatley made a film staring himself as a sexy retired spy, in a Casablanca inspired yarn.

Unfortunately, instead of being hilariously bad, it was just boring. 😆
