Yes they’re a perennial, but they vary on what zones they tolerate. Also individual plants don’t last very long, usually around 3 years. they come back every year via runners that root and start new plants.

Poison hemlock has smooth, hairless, purple spotted/streaked stems and a foul odor sometimes described as “mousy.”
Queen Anne’s lace has hairy stems and smells like carrots.
To get rid of the hemlock, wear gloves and long sleeves- pull /dig up by the root and double bag to dispose in trash 😷

It’s not the snow that’s the problem, it’s the 65mph winds on a 15ft greenhouse that’s essentially a lightweight tent.

It’s a portable greenhouse so there’s no center beam, it was just an issue of the stakes and cord being strong enough to withstand high winds.

If your ground is thawed enough to dig, you can still plant them. They won’t bloom as profusely when planted later because the root development isn’t established, but they’ll still be ok 😊
