Have been too busy with house buying to yell much about this online. But very eager to see the results from today’s election.
Hey friends -
Who's been doing non-traditional humanities dissertations in the past ~5 years?
Tons of fabulous resources from ~2021 and before, but wondering what cool people have been doing lately. References? Links? Exploring new options for our department.
Will be in DC on Friday to talk about Living in a DAISY Age!
Awww MAN! I’ll be on my way back from an NC book-related event in Cleveland. Would have loved to see you!
Also, it’s in the same town, less than a half mile away from the place we’ve rented for 9 years. We got really, really lucky!
Big milestone today: we closed on our first house. The fact that we could financially do this before age 50 surprises me too. (And it still required help from family.)

I've been invited to my undergrad alma mater for a panel next week about editing and publishing in connection with Nursing Clio. And while I'm there, I volunteered to do two workshops for the history department. It's going to be surreal to come back as the expert, but I know it'll be a great visit.
Cereal for dinner. Quiche for breakfast. Problem solved. 😜
What if you did breakfast for dinner every night?
