Road to Bremen campaign for Chain of Command 2. Turn six and the British try to clear table five with aggressive recon and then a furious bayonet charge. However. the Volksturm, helped by a Hetzer, hold the line. A German win. Same time, same place, next week.

A tense and brutal game this evening. Campaign turn four on The Road to Bremen and the British clear table three on their second attempt. Despite 30% casualties. combined British artillery and tank fire ground the German force morale down to zero. A British win.

This afternoon has mostly involved pootling about on a Vietnam era LARC-XV.

Semi-regular visit to the Titchwell Covenanter tank remains. Quite filled in at the moment. Bonus seal.

Second game, table three, of the Road to Bremen campaign saw a resolute Heer platoon stall the British advance. A triple phase, close combat and a viscious Flak 38/4 all played a part. Chain of Command 2 at it's best. With @stormofsteel.bsky.social

I came across similar done to 15mm tanks many moons ago. At it's simplest it was replacing track assemblies with filler.

The finished a platoon of 1940 French infantry. 15mm Battlefront figures from their early war range. Also jump off points, a barrage marker, an extra section and a HMG. For Chain of Command.

Absolute corker.

Chain of Command 2 delivers another knife edge game. First table of the Road to Bremen PSC. Heavy rain and smoke negated German firepower and, despite several close combats, the British secured victory. An excellent game with Steve and @stormofsteel.bsky.social .
