It turns out, I heard it from Kyle XY. At least, that's the most logical conclusion after searching which shows this song appeared in. The lyrics "Save me, I'm lost" have been bugging me since then and only by chance watching a REACT video did I finally get a confirmation that it is a real song.

a bunch of TV shows, such as Reaper, Kyle XY, The Vampire Diaries, Heroes, Veronica Mars, Smallville, and Gossip Girl, among others. You name it, I might have watched it back then.

But I digress.

It's funny because I heard this song in 2009-ish and thought I heard it in The Vampire Diaries.
