Fort Clonque, off Alderney. You can book it for a group holiday as I have done. It's amazing.
I'd be cautious about experimenting with it though!
Some Herb robert flowers, pictured against a fence, in bright sunlight. They are small five-petalled pretty pink flowers.
The last few days have seen a burst of flowers along street verges, so many I wasn't sure which to use for today's #morethanweeds. This is Herb robert (I think it's a super name). Wikipedia tells me that "Freshly picked leaves, when rubbed on the body, are said to repel mosquitoes".

Honesty, a purple flower with four petals, next to two yellow dandelions.
Spring has properly arrived so time for #morethanweeds.
This is Honesty, commonly cultivated in gardens for its flowers and distinctive seed pods.
A timely reminder, and a lovely picture.
That is astonishing!
Woop woop woop, FANTASTIC coverage for an Archives Revealed funded project 😎

A person wearing glasses and a puffer jacket stands in a large exhibition space pressing their fingers against a touchscreen display. They hold an armoured cable headphone, that is attached to the screen, against their ear. In the background, the words 'Central Library Cafe' are displayed on the wall.

Is it wise to annoy the Landsknechte though?
But everything *is* the fault of the Normans.

Indeed, Bath is not short of purveyors of fine cheese - though this was actually from Morrisons and one of the best so far this year.
I'd definitely give this a thumbs up. Reminiscent of a Manchego but with possibly a richer flavour. And it's from Morrisons.
My project for 2026 is to try lots of new cheeses. So this is Cinco Lanzas, a Spanish cheese blended from cow, sheep and goat milk. I'm told it has a 'fruity and complex flavour'. And a small Spanish fino sherry #ConfinedCocktails to accompany it.
In a week of heritage being sold to anonymous collectors, it's great to see anonymous donors helping save an important archaeological artefact 👇👇
By ❤️ I mean of course 😲
Good grief!
The British Library are advertising aPhD placement with this less than respectful illustration of William the B. I do approve.

Very impressive form, you won't be needing to wear The Brown Horror this season.
Congratulations!
