This is my fanfic #ORBAT of the 28th Infantry Division as it might've appeared in the @caseamber.com timeline. Two mechanized infantry and an armored combat command. Also includes a Combat Command from the Maryland NG and a Delaware NG AA unit.

The 364th Support Command (theater logistics for the Moon) is also unique with units for operating the military logistics terminals on the US's space elvators, lunar railways, oxygen generation, and lunar construction. The 7th Transport Group in particular handles space elevator operation.

The 12th Infantry is unique as the only Army unit specialized in exoatmospheric operations. Its 2 active duty Combat Commands are motorized for rapid movement across the moon's surface, while its National Guard CCs specialize in navigating and securing the moon's partially underground settlements.

🇺🇸 The US First Army commands all US Army forces in cislunar space, including the moon itself and Army-operate terminals on 3 space elevators (including 1 lunar elevator). Combat forces are mostly under the 12th Infantry Division (Lunar).

🇺🇸 The organization of US I Corps in Case Amber. As its units are largely garrisoned on the West Coast and Pacific Islands, with 1 Airborne Combat Command forward deployed to Japan, it's earmarked as the first wave of reinforcements to shore up IX Corps in China in the lead up to war.

Concept art depicting a dark green and white futuristic military helicopter. It features a large turret-like weapon system mounted on top, and the words "United States of America" are clearly visible on the side. The design has a sleek, advanced look.

Also when the US Army infantry battalions would have Davy Crockett sections as augmentation, they were intended to go under the battalion mortar platoon

The Alamo nuclear weapon is probably more like an evolved version of Davy Crockett, so not much better lol

It's just a "Mortar Company" because it was originally only mortars

So, a while back, I ran a one-shot (read: two-shot) where my friends played an elite squad infiltrating a citadel ahead of the main army. As reference, I made a map of the nation they had invaded, which turned out to be a fun way to try out some new hillshade techniques and a few other items.
