A black-and-white illustration shows a distressed child reaching out toward several extended hands, symbolizing a desperate attempt for help or reunion. Behind the child looms a large image of Donald Trump, stern-faced, set against a poster that reads “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.” The child’s outstretched arms are partly obscured by Trump’s image, visually suggesting obstruction or interference. The drawing powerfully conveys themes of immigration, separation, and political indifference to human suffering.

Pretty sure I am already on a list, but yeah. Some much more comprehensive heslthcare would be awesome.
Tied my shoes too tight. Now my foot hurts.... in other news, the laces on these Chucks ARE NOT LONG ENOUGH.
Oh I came here to ask you how old you are and could it be the menoupause.....I mean, the dystopian hellscape would not help, but yeah. Menopause is just unhinged. There were definitely things I didn't know would happen, happening.
All cats are different, of course, but I have had really good luck with just picking them up and moving them to a hard surface when they make The Noise.
I have done a MASSIVE Etsy update. So many upcycled cashmere hats and neckwarmers! msbetties.etsy.com #upcycledcashmere #reuse #cashmerehats #winteraccesories

Oh gods. I need a formal dress by the end of April. I have one. Have not worn it in 15ish years. I got too chubby for it. I need ideas!
I did a whole bunch of research last time I bought a coffee maker. We wanted the timer, and the s/s double walled carafe. Which Jake had never experienced. He is now a believer. I would tell you what coffee maker it is, but I don't think they make it anymore.
I came here to talk about double walled French Presses...because replacing that glass carafe on a Bodum? Costs almost as much as a new French Press. Also s/s double-walled works just as well when has fallen on the floor and gotten dented all to heck.

This is just too funny to not share.
I definitely listen to serial killer podcasts while sewing. And the soundtrack from Wicked.
The internet went out at work yesterday. For over an hour. If you knew where I worked, you would understand why it felt intentional. You know what you can not do without internet? Retail.
The first cat I did this with was probably Maine Coon. That cat was smart af.
I have had very good luck with training my cats to do this. The minute they make The Sound, I pick them up and put them on the hard floor. It worked very well for both cats I did it with. And one of them is a ginger.
Are bulk spices in open bins in any spice store a thing currently? 2 people have asked about that so far today, and we haven't even been open 2 hours. If your spice merchant has open bins, they also need a food handlers license. Because most people don't have ducking clue about food safety.
So I found a soap company here in Chicago. @soapdistillery.bsky.social that I love. And they are now being shadow banned on youknowwhere. I guess if you are a dirty, horrible person soap offends somehow? I dunno. But they also happen to make a coffee/whiskey lip balm that I love.
4 out of 5 Patterns has a super-cozy raglan sleeve t shirt with a hood option. I have one in a stretchy cotton velour and it is amazingly cozy.
Do you know why a president would do all the most evil and heinous shit via Executive Order? Because his party can't easily make it law. And if they can't make it law, they can't make it last.
Don't let anyone make you feel like this is The End. Do not let them demoralize you. Live to see them die.
Today's outfit. Dress and leggings made and drafted by me. The sweater was a sample from the now defunct Lorna's Laces. Wish I could get my hands on this yarn, it's wool and cotton and cozy af. #memade #memadewardrobe #nowifonlyIknewhowtomakeshoes
Oh hecks yeah!
I like Merchant Mills, Assembly Line and Wardrobe for Me. Hmm, none of them are based in the US I just realized. But Merchant Mills is the source of my 3 most-used patterns. 2 dress patterns and the t shirt our of their workbook.
We are so totally, and utterly fucked.
I feel like we're in a mash-up of 1984 + Parable of the Sower.
