My wife likes those (I call them her “murder shows”). I think part of the fantasy aspect is cops that are principled people trying to protect people and hold dangerous criminals accountable. In real life, cops are just the enforcement arm of capitalism and they don’t do that stuff.
TV is a mixed bag. I don’t watch much nowadays but my wife and I put up our comfort shows (comedies like “King Of The Hill”, “Rick And Morty”, “Raising Hope”, etc) in the background while we parallel play. I mostly play video games or write.

IMHO, it is important that Woke 2 be deemed "excessive" by historians, "sweeping too broadly" with "punishments too severe." It cannot be merely a course correction, it must be an overcorrection. Nothing less will serve as an adequate deterrent against the fascists and their collaborators.
