A sketch of a zombie with long hair - inspired by the old idea of restless dead with hair and nails that keeps growing long after they've been buried

aseprite is what I've been using
I need to commit to learning pixel art. I keep starting and then before I know it a months gone by and I forgot all the keyboard shortcuts and stuff and then a year goes by 😭
A frame-by-frame breakdown of the new running animation I made recently.
I’m still very happy with how it turned out and I’m looking forward to upgrading the rest of the movement animations!

I used to be kinda judgemental but now it makes sense why everyone has "attention deficit disorder" and takes amphetamines everyday 😆
Took a walk in the middle of the day to wake myself up. Now I need a nap wtf 🙄
People are starting to choose sides for the upcoming war on vibecoding
I wish I actually studied combinatorics and probability in school. It is actually way more logical than I expected! I understand n choose k and it only took like a day of watching youtube videos 👍

Debugging the network issues when you forgot to uncheck '3g' in the network throttle options in devtools
I guess they probably do have the same stuff but I think digitalocean in the early days was basically just virtual servers. So you press a button and it gives you an ip to ssh into. No messing with aws specific roles/perms config junk.
Yes I've been using digitalocean forever and have hated dealing with aws/google cloud.

Real talk, what advice any experts in the video game industry has for a aspiring game dev?
We tryna get that good money and keepin the industry alive!!!
Has AI helped with dealing with AWS and stuff like that? via MCP agents or something? I always felt the urge to go all in and learn all about that stuff (not just s3 buckets) but it felt out of my wheelhouse. Did my lazyness pay off or the opposite, and now its more important than code? 🤔
On the brightside it gave me some inspiration for a potential horror game
After watching vids all afternoon about the goatman of the appalachian mountains and learning about the correlation between missing people and the cave systems... Thunderstorm and power goes out at 11:30pm when I'm in the shower. I swear the damn goatman was in the bathroom mirror🐐
Is there a cursor rule I can use to stop it from wasting tokens on simple tasks? 🤔
Watching scary movies all day is a guarantee that it will thunderstorm that same night. 😱
Anyone else have the bizarre experience of buying an oculus quest, then a year later you turn it on one day and it internally rebranded itself as a 'meta quest'. New splash screen, new name, but the hardware still said oculus?
I love VR but this is hilarious 🤣
Have leetcode style interview questions gone away or are they still a thing at competitive companies? 🤔

It is suspicious that youtube doesn't let you outright block channels... 🤔
It's not quite the same, but I developed a Chrome extension locally that can filter feed items on YouTube based on their text content.
I can publish it to the Chrome Web Store if you or anyone else is interested. It would filter based on any keywords the user chooses.
Nothing instills trust like the flash of text "DO NOT PRESS BACK" after pressing submit on a payment form 🤢
AssetGuy wanted to experiment with materials even more so here's some materials/textures we did for our side project.

>start building project thinking it can be a portfolio piece
>its missing too many features
>build out features but code turns into a complete dumpster fire
>no one uses it anyway
many such cases
