it's a critter for my game: there'll be different types you can tame (after defeating their boss) and they'll either help out at the farm or in battle, or produce resources :)

Coming from the world of CSS, not having a max size was such a hard adjustment for me when styling my UI in Godot. I kinda learned to work around it but I'm still glad it's coming in 4.7!

It's kinda funny how game UI needs some sort of sound effect to not feel empty, but we don't react the same to eg web pages or "normal" apps...
anyway, worked some more on my gamified task list and added sounds :D

most gamified to do lists do a single player rpg approach with leveling up, but i wanted to go the multiplayer route for shared tasks :D
i hope to ignite some friendly competition with the boardgame approach, so tasks get done faster and our flat keeps tidy, haha
something that's important for me to add: when setting up tasks, players will be able to set custom "difficulties": some tasks are harder for some than others (think spoon theory, equality vs equity) and a few extra steps gained may help tackle the task (hopefully, haha)

Me and my partner both have ADHD and struggle with house chores. Normal to do lists or schedules don't really work, so i thought, why not try to gamify the experience? :D Allowed steps will be determined by the finished task and you gain some bonus when completing one round

something that annoys me most when playing this sort of game is when they don't. so, they'll persist until the end of the day, then some (not all) get moved to a "lost and found" chest.

Been refactoring the inventory logic, 'cause the concerns were not really separated, lol.
then i used the new logic to build the HUD inventory :) We have splitting one off / in half, stacking and switching around
