I've banned/blocked #AI on all my browsers. It annoys the f outta me, worst the information it gives isn't always accurate.

it's working as it should on Debian 12.

Ideally I would like Davinci Resolve Studio 20 to work under Debian since it feels a whole load more stable, when doing other things.

I have a #linux related question.

I have two installs on two different drives, both on Nvidia T400 GPU.

1. Kubuntu KDE 22.04 with #DavinciResolve20 installed. Works fine with the T400. No issues.

2. Debian 12 KDE with DR20 installed. Refuses to work, says "Unsupported GPU" & quits.

Why? 🤔

If age #verification depends on the avatar/profile picture people upload to their social media, I'd probably be using something like this. 😂

So after a week of experimenting. I have decided to move away from #Kubuntu and install #DebianKDE or try Debian Trixie Testing. After all this is a non-essential system and I'm hungry to learn! #Linux

I spent a little setting up my own partition tables. Enventally figured how to split things. I ended up using two NVMe SSDs.

4Tb for #Linux /efi boot & / (root)
8Tb drive for /home

When I change distros. I assume, my home drive's content wont be affected, right? Or do i need to backup? 🤔

I dont game on Linux, However installing Steam to chat with myfriends is nice!!

As a streamer, I'll stick to Win11 for one box. Just becvause Linux doesnt have all the games working, especially for those games that need anti-cheat.

Live stream through OBS, run a docker, edit videos with Davinci Resolve Studio (full license) and consume media.

Ahh.. I installed Flathub then noticed some applications wont run after installing. Also Davinci Resolve Studio 20 wont install correctly. Its meant to be Kubuntu 24.04.2 LTS.

This makes me think about changing distros.
Perhaps I'll give #Linuxmint and #Debian a go..

I have been trying #Linux distros. Originally I tried Bazzite, good for gamers, cant install drivers for pus without rebasing.

Then I switched to #Kubuntu, this distro feels so much better, I can still play games, enjoy content creation etc.

Still want to try other distros. Suggestions?

Finally, I have successfully switched from Wi11 to W10 on my #Dynabook #P1R9XPBL laptop. If you only knew how much I dislike W11, despite it being new and updated.

Such a shame W10 servicelife wll end soon.
However doesn't make it less useful, still the best version of Microsoft OS out.
