Illinois just became the 13th state to pass Clean Slate legislation.

Gov. Pritzker signed the Clean Slate Act into law — meaning 1.7 million people will have eligible records automatically sealed starting in 2029.

Better jobs. Better housing. Real second chances.

And it hits hardest on military, rural, and disabled voters. The ones vote-by-mail was built for.

We need better systems. Not more ambiguity.
