We were grateful to close out our conference with a thoughtful discussion from Dr. Anthony J. Onwuegbuzie, where he spoke of his work on Critical Dialectical Pluralism (CDP), bringing interesting perspectives and sharing years long experience in mixed methods research. Thank you Dr. Onwuegbuzie!
We were incredibly fortunate to have Dr. Jeffrey Ansloos join us as one of the keynote speakers at this year's PRIME Conference! In his speech, Dr. Ansloos reflected on the importance of listening to Indigenous experiences & storytelling in family mental health care. Thank you Dr. Ansloos!
To encourage creativity & community, the conference featured an interactive art engagement activity! Gillian King, an artist & art therapist with Lil' Steps Wellness, led participants in finger-crocheting simple chains that will later be brought together as a public art display. Thank you Gillian! 💛
Indigenous-Centered Community Engagement in Research was the central focus of our panel discussion. Our panelists shared lived experiences and valuable insights on incorporating Indigenous teachings into research. We are grateful for the knowledge and wisdom shared by our panelists, thank you!
