A peek behind how I made these pieces for the Tiny Gallery!

Today was one of those soul sucking days at my 9-5. But once I closed my laptop to go outside and enjoy the rest of the nice spring day, it didn’t matter as much anymore. My husband caught these candids of me soaking up the last bits of sunshine and strumming on my ukulele.

Common Side Effects is the best show that I hear too little about. Animated show on Max by Mike Judge and the folks behind Scavenger’s Reign (another banger.) It’s hilarious, surprising, moving and profoundly relevant. Full recommendation.

Trying out a new metaphor. Gen Ai is like a microwave. In a hurry it will do something akin to cooking/baking but for most things it's never as good as taking your time to make the real thing. If you need to stuff your face in 60 seconds cuz capitalism needs you at work, it's a choice.

I got a fun opportunity to be a featured artist for this month with the Tiny Gallery at St John’s here PDX! I ended up making 12 minis (3x3”) that were themed around the idea of a Tiny [Big] Band.

Fun fact: I played the trombone for 7.5 yrs & now learning the ukulele
