We are reaching depths of futility and absurdity that only Mets fans can understand. #mets

Dark star crashes, pouring its light into ashes.
Reason tatters, the forces tear loose from the axis.
Searchlight casting for faults in the clouds of delusion.
Shall we go, you and I while we can
Through the transitive nightfall of diamonds?

I love the unabashed jazz-nerdiness of this post! As it should be on Bluesky, we will be beautifully engineered and mixed!

My youngest was recently Lady Montague in Romeo and Juliet. She was so excited even though she had like two lines.

Yes. Thanks. I did find one spotify playlist that collects all is sideman endeavors and his own stuff, but that is probably incomplete.

I love Grant Green too, pretty much everything he does, though I haven't gone down the bootleg rabbit hole. He may be my favorite jazz artist and probably in my top 3-5 overall guitarists of any kind -- me being by nature a more rock oriented guy.

Disagreeing here. I think Artemis II was one of the few stories that transcended the bad things in the news. #Artemis

So true. It is a toxic place.

Yes! I would imagine a similar thing exists with gas powered snowblowers, which I have resisted. Despite the aging back, the good ole shovel still works.

"All we say to America is, 'Be true to what you said on paper.'"

These words — spoken by MLK Jr. shortly before he was killed on this day in 1968 — ring just as true now.

Let's honor his legacy by continuing the fight for social and economic justice.
