As soon as the sun rises, I drink my cup of tea and I drag myself out of bed to feed my flock. I tell them it’s me by whistling then, I fill my first feeder and check their seed cake to see if it needs to be filling.

The area around this thicket is thriving! We have seagulls, ducks and now Canadian geese. My #sparrows appear to be no worse for wear. This little darling is even perhaps a bit chubby.

My bench in various times of year. It’s not really mine, I do share it with the community. But, I am very fond of it and do get put out if someone is already sitting there.
