En la puerta de la terraza tenemos una fina persiana de bambú que nos ayuda a reducir el sol que entra a primera hora y a la vez nos permite acercarnos más a los #gorriones sin que nos vean. Y así, de paso, podemos mostraros otros rincones y otros momentos del comedero.

Esta brassica no sólo le gusta a las abejas. La única razón por la que sigue viva es que ha crecido más rápido de lo que los #gorriones podían comer.
Las semillas están bien, pero de vez en cuando también hay que acompañarlas con un poquito de ensalada 🥗

Con la buena temperatura hemos cambiado el comedero de cacahuetes por el de semillas. Como es habitual, los #gorriones desconfian así que hemos usado a las tórtolas como el año pasado. Y es que por mucho miedo que tengan, la envidia siempre es más fuerte 😅

This painting is part of my mini-series of three paintings - Sparrow Meeting One, Two and Three. Each of these paintings shows a female sparrow sitting on a branch. Each of these pictures can be hung on its own. However, the three paintings can also be perfectly combined to form a triptych and hung together on a wall for a joint sparrow meeting.

Barely captured it! Didn’t have time to adjust camera on blasted iPhone…it was a struggle to pull out the beauty of the Lincoln Sparrow.
