We've had a very large bird that appears to be a Robin, but isn't one, showing up daily. I was trying to photograph it when these two appeared! So beautiful.
I believe the bird I've been noticing is a Thrush.

Where do you live? These look more like ring neck doves than mourning doves. We have mourning doves here in South Texas and they don't have rings around their necks
I am far from an expert but have read that ring neck doves are native to parts of Africa.
