This was awfully good. Thanks to @mjpcuervo.bsky.social for letting me know about it!

ABSOLUTELY MIND BLOWN!! If you loved Nosferatu, here is The Tell Tale Heart, short film by Eggers. I didn’t even know it existed and came across it whilst researching illustrations for Poe , and it’s an absolute gift. You’re welcome

Absolutely sublime 💛💛💛

Ahh man! This is sublime. It radiates absolute epic occult power. This composition and the guts it takes to not over-paint details and features and just leave it alone at the right time. This is stunning 💛💛💛

There will never, ever be anyone like him ever again. Profoundly brilliant artist on so many levels. I think Eraserhead, Blue Velvet, Mullholland Drive and Lost Highway are masterpieces of cinema. It’s a huge loss, we’ve lost one of the true greats 🖤🖤🖤

The film version of Shawshank Redemption is 30 years old. Here are some drawings I made inside copies of the PS publishing edition of Different Seasons by @stephenking.bsky.social What an honour it was to work on

I genuinely don’t think I’ve looked forward to a film this much in years. In two minutes I can see nods to Carl Theodor Dreyer’s Vampyr, Herzog’s 1979 adaptation and the paintings of Casper David Fredrich. I’ve loved everything from Eggers upto now and this looks cinematically sublime

Hot on the Heels of Dark Gods, comes Reassuring Tales from Chiroptera Press. Delighted to have produced the Jacket and interior illustrations for this title. I’m a huge fan of T.E.D Klein and this was awesome project to work on. The Events at Porath Farm is a masterpiece

What a gloriously, gaudy decadent sex fest ‘Taste the Blood of Dracula’ is. Made doubly brilliant by John Carson’s ever wonderful presence and Ralph Bates’s OTT lunacy is another high point

It was my first attempt at an oil landscape and appropriate, given that I went to school here.
