Windows 7 was crashing me out of my scripting program and Google Drive, so Linux Mint is now installed on my scripting laptop.
That makes two Linux machines in the house, now.
Slooowly extricating ourselves from the overmind.

100 years in the time scale of humans, and science, is a drop in the ocean. Science itself is generally pretty new. Seems way to early to call it done. Sheesh.
We literally are. It's called Quantum Physics and we're just beginning to understand it. It's also informing and changing how we think traditional physics work which is going to unlock even more on that side of the proverbial physics fence too.
Bonkers: The USA belongs to the First Nations & yet the Principal Chief of the Cherokee Nation has been banned from the Oklahoma House floor! The sheer colonialism of such arrogance is breathtaking. Perhaps Oklahoma could make America great again, by listening to its original people?
Riiiiight....no left! 🤣
Maybe 😄

Trump has deleted the AI slop image post that many criticized was a depiction of himself as Jesus Christ. This… is how he tried to explain it away.
A worker died at an Amazon warehouse in Oregon last week.
For more than an hour, workers were instructed to continue working as the man lay dead.
One worker wanted to help, but a manager told them to “Just turn around and not look. Let’s get back to work," according to @thewesternedge.bsky.social.
Puff puff pass...wait! 😬
To my non tech normies, PSA: when you share a link, everything after the ? is tracking. Those “query parameters” tell companies exactly how you arrived, what app you clicked, which ad or email sent you, sometimes a unique identifier tied to you. You can delete everything after the question mark.
Did you see the one official NASA post of Astronaut Leland Melvin who had his two rescues join him for his official NASA flight head shot?
Good crew indeed!
The Glover Family.
Thank you, Canada, for the service of Colonel Jeremy Hansen. NASA couldn't have carried out this mission without his expertise and professionalism. He's yet another example of how our northern neighbors and friends honor us with their excellence and grace.
I accidentally drank coca-cola so I'm still awake and the monsters are talking to me.

The action unfolds in a discrete, turn-based world, where all movement is non-continuous. A cute little orange embarks on a mission to refill its chocolate stash 🍫, scattered across 20 puzzle-filled levels.
Look at the women at NASA.
They are the ones pushing the boundaries of science, solving problems most people can’t even understand, and carrying this country forward, while our politicians right now posture and stumble through talking points.
And they are doing it all with joy.👇
A circus tent featuring demon horses, murals of horror, and some other weird monuments.
Unholy death rattle cough. Band name, called it! First album "begins".
@kagi.com in the News app time stamps up top please. Since many articles are cited maybe Earliest time/date to latest time/date or something. If I'm looking at recent events I'd like to know just how old the information is. Kind of key to news. Please and thank you.
A starfield filled with thousands of stars and shining clouds of dust. The Milky Way\u2019s elegant spiral structure is dominated by just two arms wrapping off the ends of a central bar of stars. Spanning more than 100,000 light-years, Earth is located along one of the galaxy\u2019s spiral arms, about halfway from the center. Credit: NASA
OH. MY. GOD.
THIS IS THE MILKY WAY SHOT BY THE ARTEMIS II CREW. LOOK AT ALL THOSE STARS!!!!
I thought I was sick of the thought of space travel.
Turned out I was really sick of billionnaire vanity projects.
What NASA's doing is incredible and has got me excited about space exploration again.
I was thinking that for a day where we saw the backside of the moon, there were surprisingly few butt jokes. But then I searched for, "moon butt," and discovered that I just live in a bubble.
