It really depends on the plant tbh. You need an acid and an alkali. For hazelnut, I use potash alum and Natron but if you ever get a whitish lake because you were heavy hamded, you can rince it with boiling water anyway.. 🙂🤷‍♀️

❤️ it's the young leaves at the top of the spring branches that give the best yellow and it is very generous ! You just have to use additives very sparingly in order to keep the colour strong, that's all 💛🙂
