I need the bright minds of #filmsky to help me out with this. came across a Reddit post seeking the source of this still with no results, and I’ve not had much luck either. my guess is some kind of TV drama anthology? eerily similar to the Collinwood foyer, but definitely not Dark Shadows!

I'm finally in the part of Dark Shadows that's like this

The center of an old dilapidated house with furniture strung about, grimy windows, a chandelier, and a fireplace. Over the fireplace is a rather large portrait of a beautiful young woman in a flowing light dress sitting in a chair with her arms resting on her lap together. The girl is Josette Collins, one of the ancestors of the Collins family that the show centers around. Standing in the middle alone is the ghost of the very same woman. As this was before the show went color, the picture is in black and white.

70 episodes in and Dark Shadows, after hints, noises, and flashes, shows it's first overtly supernatural entity, the ghost of Josette Collins.
