In 2 weeks, I need to pay the balance of Katie's radiation treatments. If anyone would like to share the post or chip in, I would be eternally grateful.

Day 21 of #pleinairpril - i have myself extra time on this painting, probably because i love its subject so much, tbh!
Thank you for the inspiration!
A person with purple glasses and blue hair standing in front of the window and some trees
It's my 25th birthday! 🥳🎉
Despite being a queer, neurodivergent Gen Z in such a rough time, I'm still alive 💜
My only ask is that you support my freelance editing business so I can build a life & career for myself.
Hire me as your editor, repost, share my website, read my blogs! Anything helps!
Here's a lovely photo of my fabric art creation, the tiny witch homunculus. She's a little green humanoid with large twinkly red eyes and a tiny frown. She doesn't have any clothes to speak of. She's sitting on a small cookie of sliced wood. She's holding a little stick wrapped with rainbow thread with a green stone on the end. There's a little broom standing upright beside her. On the other side is a green, yellow, and blue striped sock. In the background is a beautiful Monet painting fabric.
Here's the witch homunculus in a Monet-inspired pocket dimension, using her magic to add another stripe to one of my socks. She still won't explain to me why she mildly transmogrifies one of my socks every night.

The fatback that was added to almost every possible vegetable dish my grandparents served. Texture and look-wise it is just weird.
threadless has one of their big sales on so it's a great time to check out mine and other artists' stuff!
Singing mushrooms sounds delightful!
I find most of the bundles I participate in from posts here or in a discord server I'm in that has a dedicated itch channel (many thanks to @bookspotlight.bsky.social for hosting it)
The crows in our trees spend a lot of time yelling and I'm not sure what they're yelling about but it must feel good to just yell at the top of your lungs
The Chariot of Octopolis. A starry night octopus sits within the shape of a giant 'paper nautilus', an egg casing of an argonaut octopus. She holds a golden sponge, wears a skirt of chiton armor and a crab helm. The nautilus chariot is pulled forward by two yellowfin tuna lashed to a yoke. An iridescent banner streams behind the chariot. In the background rise archways and towers of a coral city.

map/tarot card fragment focusing on the lower right corner with a sad giant eel, too big for the pond it is trapped in. the pond is a floating piece of land next to some vertical, gravity-defying cliffs over a deep ravine.

Digital painting of an opening pink magnolia bloom next to an unopened bud contrasted against a clear blue sky. The bloom has large petals which are touched by shadow here and there bringing out a deeper pink color.
An ethereal pink magnolia blossom courtesy of a lovely photo from @taterdash.bsky.social for today's #DrawAFlowerADay. The original photo had more blooms in the background but I liked the contrast of focusing in on one branch against this pure blue sky.
It is a truth universally acknowledged that all writers have at least one good mushroom story in them (or perhaps growing upon them)

Attention animal artists: Im currently collecting ACEO pieces for a mini exhibition (no pun intended? 😛) I'm curating (and just to collect for myself for fun LOL). If you have any for sale, drop your link here so I can check them out! :)
Chopping down trees today as you do (don't worry, I am getting rid of .01 % of the trees within our purview. Purview is a word you don't hear so often anymore. (I may be delirious at this point in the process).)

Two large dark green birds with long downward curved green bills and green legs standing on a bare tree branch. They have areas of bright green iridescence on the neck and body.

Digital painting of a common redpoll in profile facing left and clinging to a thin reed-like plant against a blue sky with soft white clouds. The bird is a smallish one with cream belly, beige and brown spots, darker brown wings, dark yellow beak, and a striking spot of red on the top of its head.
Here are some #cloud formations with bonus bird for today's #RepostYourArt
Tortie cat in an empty laundry basket. Her eyes are bright and her mouth is a little open, revealing tiny teeth.

Lots of dark blue headed birds.
It’s Grackle season. ✨
A close-up of a small songbird perched on a branch, partially framed by green leaves. The bird features a striking, vibrant orange throat and upper breast, contrasted by a slate-gray head and back with white-streaked wings. It is looking downward with a sharp, dark beak and a small black eye.
The Flame-throated Warbler has always been a challenge for me, as I don't see them that often and they're very busy little birds as they flit under leaves looking for delicious insect snacks. I got a little luckier today. #CostaRica #birds
