In their confirmation hearings, RFK Jr pledged he would not be anti-vax, Hegseth said he respected women serving in leadership positions in the military, and Bondi said she would not weaponize DOJ against Trump’s political enemies.

This is still an ongoing crisis and not getting nearly enough media attention.

Please share.

Trump has assembled least diverse US government this century, study shows President has chosen white men for key posts at expense of women and people of colour, Brookings Institution finds

Trump has built the most racially and gender-exclusive administration in modern U.S. history: 84% male and 90% white. While saddening, it's NOT shocking. This is the result of an administration undermining racial equity and committed to rolling back DEI at every level.

I hope they can all be held accountable.

Huh? US hospitals aren’t “fully funded by gov’t and donations”, nor are they federally owned, aside from VA hospitals.

Most are nonprofits, though they strain that definition at times.

Private equity has been buying up hospitals for a long time already, check the Stewart scandal in MA for example.

It's in order to make people lose faith in a "public" healthcare system so his buddies can privatize it.

Isn't there already a shortage of healthcare professionals? This is *not* going to help.
(That may be the intention- making it so only the wealthy can get adequate care.)

As a person who spent 4 months in a nicu and juvenile intensive care unit while the hospital tried to save my son, I can tell you nurses are the most professional and dedicated people in the medical profession.

This is the Trump that’s doing the bidding of the wealthy who don’t want it too attainable for the working poor to get higher education.

The education of anyone in the health professions should be free.

Let any doctor or hospital or clinic try to keep their doors open without qualified nurses.
They do 95% of the work. Maybe more.

Yes!

I feel the greater understanding of toxic masculinity ties into the concepts of decolonisation and healing. I have three male friends whose skills blow me away every time they speak - but they had to wade through a lot of fire to get there, and are not the type of men considered "worthy"...

How we beat back the corporate takeover of America:

1. Break up corporate monopolies

2. Continue building union power

3. End Citizens United and get big money out of politics

Let’s keep working to unrig the system.

Soft morning light filters through a dense forest, illuminating the orange-brown fallen leaves on the ground. Tall dark tree trunks rise vertically, creating depth and contrast against the hazy, misty background. A warm patch of light glows in the distance, giving the scene a calm, atmospheric, almost magical feeling.
