Day 18: Another episode that was hard to pull a quote from, just so much sadness in trauma in this one. But with the crew's help, Stede's plan was executed, and they escaped. He used his position and the tools available to him to save his crew.

A downloaded photo from the Heritage Auction site with two versions of Stede's map he drew, trying to triangulate Ed's location in relation to his crimes. Both have an aged look to them and tatty edges and creases where they have been folded and refolded multiple times. The one on the left has general geographic locations, and the right has romantic lines of poetry and a sketched portrait of Ed in one corner.

Day 17: Hardest episode to pull a quote from. Stede comes off snobby here, and I can see him complaining to his journal about it. He's a captain, and this must feel like a demotion to him. I didn't get a good photo of the map I printed (with tatty edges) but I used the one from the auction
