My first #10MinMerlin. These are common birds here. The
Eu. blue tit pair ('Herrerillo común') decided to nest on a wall in the garden this year.
Spotted the first swift of the year today. Seen flying high and following closely a group of 3 barn swallows.
The Red-rumped Swallow that went south at the Warren then lingered at Chalk Bank before flying on south again

Found this friend today while birding. It hid under some leaves too fast to get better pictures.

First Black kite of the year arrived, along with a big flock of yellow legged gulls.
Fictional theropod skull. References mostly Nanotyrannus and Zuolong.
Preliminary Tameryraptor skull. Done when it was named last year.
Being 'out of touch' from the paleontological community, apart from a vast mental health improvement, means I get these news months later.
I would like to thank the authors for using it, and with proper credit.
Biggest achievement so far is having my old (and slightly inaccurate) tyrannosaurus silhouette used in this paper in Nature.

Old unfinished skeleton of a fictional pliosaur. Not sure I should post it but it's a thing that exists.
Sketching some dragons
Happy new year gift. A long ago I wanted to do a skeleton for Prestosuchus... I started doing some tests on it for fun.
A snowflake eel CT scanned skeleton. it has scary extra jaws behind its skull that look like a bow with teeth.
Finally have time to upload things to Sketchfab.
Here's the dead eel I found at an aquarium store!
Thanks to the generosity of the store owner, everyone can see the scary extra jaws these guys have!

Time to reveal this thing.
Felt the old dragon was frustrating to do, so i tried a different idea and made it more serpentine.
