Oh yes of course. Like I said, disconnected..

I've been so disconnected from this awful season that I hadn't realised they were on for relegation, just assumed they'd be somewhere near the top!

‘People still remember it 40 years later’: the making of Chuckie Egg The iconic game that came to define 8-bit programming still conjures flutters of nostalgia 40 years on – all thanks to a 15-year-old tea boy who worked a Saturday shift in a computer shop in Greater M...

Hi I wrote about the making of classic platformerChuckie Egg and talked to its creator Nigel Alderton. Please give it a read as I want to show there’s an audience for this gaming history stuff 🙏

I loved Roger Roger, an incredibly underrated show.

Noted, though the good news for me is that I'm not a betting man.

#Firstbirdofmyday Only a blooming nightingale!!! We rolled into Fingringhoe Wick and as we entered the reserve opened the car windows. This is what we heard. Sublime. There are currently 26 singing birds on the reserve. What utter bliss.

In Scarborough's Peasholm Park (grade II), the extension into Peasholm Glen in 1924 produced 'a retreat from the bustle of the lake area to a quieter, more enclosed & darker part with naturalistic planting.' The Lily Pond was restored 2008 - Hermes replaced a damaged Cupid - & a tree trail created.

Just a tiny, tiny, pathetic weasel.

It's absolutely disgusting and scandalous what they're doing to the fans. Utterly shameful.

I'm certain Real Madrid will take all that in good spirit.

Agreed, I'm the same, and I hope I'm not as precious now as I once was. Certainly give Dire Straits ago, especially their early stuff.

I was a big Dire Straits fan during my school years, wore all the badges, and still love them now. I've been playing this a lot recently from their first album, and it still sounds great to me.

But in a perverse way I enjoyed reading the reviews of their crap games more than other houses smashes!

Hancock's Half Hour (15th April 1960). Tony's big night out with Muriel (Liz Fraser) doesn't go terribly well.

My absolute favourite fact about Kenneth Williams, who died on this day in 1988, was that when he starred opposite the matchless Sheila Hancock - 93 and still splendid - in the 1961 revue One Over The Eight, his understudy was (as revealed to the Guardian 11 years ago) Ken Loach. I know. #verybold

Brilliant day of snooker, probably more nerves and raw emotion on display than at the Crucible itself. Roll on tomorrow!

Today, as we celebrate the defeat of Viktor Orbán in the Hungarian election, let’s pay tribute to Seb Vettel, who famously wore this #SameLove T-shirt during the 2021 #F1 #HungarianGP weekend, to protest the anti-#LGBTQ+ laws introduced by Orbán’s government at that time. 🌈
