Looking back, I'm pleased with my year in poetry, with several published at wildfire-words.com; there are a couple here, published in September: wildfire-words.com/os6-june-aug.... Son et Lumiere was inspired by a rare appearance of the northern lights in Devon
Sidmouth looking good in the winter sun this afternoon..

A letter from Richard Foord MP dated 18th November 2024 asking that funding be made available to rebuild Tipton St John primary school within the village, but outside of the flood zone.
A letter from Catherine McKinnell MP, Minister for School Standards, to Richard Foord MP stating that the Government will work with the school, governors, and Exeter Diocese to identify and secure a suitable site for relocation, along with Devon County Council.
When I wrote to the Government about Tipton St John primary, I hoped they would see the necessity of rebuilding the school in the village and outside of the flood zone. I will keep pushing to enable local children to carry on attending school in their own village.
One of the pleasures of editing our village magazine is exploring our past. Just added to the website gallery: a selection of over 30 historic photos, colourised and brought to life: www.tiptontimes.org.uk/gallery/
