Sharing food acts as an “equaliser”. At Wednesday tea, “the same rules apply for everyone. We take it in turns who goes up first to get their food … we have different nationalities cook.”

Young Influencers from Oasis Academy Coulsdon with @childrenssociety.bsky.social delivered 4,300 signatures to Parliament, urging a national measure of children’s wellbeing — without data, we can’t fix what’s wrong.
The government has announced every child caught carrying a knife will receive tailored care. Oasis hosted think tank, @cfyounglives.bsky.social, has long called for greater support for young people affected by violence. This policy could save lives.
