Our Summary of the (in my view) most exciting new insight into the mechanism of NMD of the past decade is now out at the RNA Journal @rnajournal.bsky.social

Congratulations Sebastian!
A hint for Swiss politicians: if you want Swiss science to remain internationally competitive, cutting the SNSF budget is the opposite of what you actually should be doing.
Ironically, at the same time, Swiss politicians are warning about China taking over the global lead in scientific discoveries and development of innovative technology.
While the Swiss government wants to cut the budget of the Swiss National Science Foundation by 5%, China has just announced a 10% budget increase for science and technology.
Happy to see this work published! Thanks to everyone who contributed 🙏

Dictators and autocrats hate science because facts debunk their lies. That's the motivation behind Trump's massive attacks on U.S. research.

Dear all, it was overdue to leave ex-Twitter and move to Bluesky. Happy to see that many of our old friends are here, too. We are attempting to connect to scientists interested in RNA biology and beyond. #translation #RNA #NMD
