2/ Whenever we take a risk in life, or do something that might set us apart, or draw the judgement of others, these crippling voices provoke a form of ‘stage fright’ - a fear of existence, a fear of life itself.

1/ The voice that whispers, ‘Am I good enough?’ or, ‘Do I deserve to be here?’ or, ‘What if people hate me?’ - the voice that can ultimately lead to a state of paralysis. Yet, whether singer, artist, or otherwise, these are the demons we all must face.

With this amazing award, I will continue the work I have started over a decade ago (not that I knew then where I'd be heading or arriving here now), to create alongside others a socially-just model of nightwork.

"Every year more people are killed at work than in wars. Most don't die of mystery ailments, or in tragic "accidents". They die because an employer decided their safety just wasn't that important a priority."

Let's commemorate those workers.
