The Ronin and the Bride is one of the best episodes of TV I’ve ever seen, hands down

Can we talk about those McDonald’s commercials for the Kpop Demon Hunters meal?! The girl at the end who is like “don’t fight, kiiiiiiss.” I mean that’s what I’m SAYING 😂😂

#PursuitOfjade is so good. But so frustrating! All the ingredients are there. Some slightly tighter plot lines, better editing, and please just let these hot people get it on with each other & it would be perfect. I’m not asking for Heated Rivalry but they have so much chemistry that’s mostly wasted

The vibes are good so I’ll survive! It just feels especially jarring because the first part was so tight? It feels like a different show in some ways! Did someone else write these episodes? Did the censorship just get especially heavy handed? So many questions

Yes! And they lean into it. I loved that scene right after they agree to get married and he’s like “why would you keep me around and feed me?” And she blurts out “because you’re good looking” 😆 so funny

Takeaways: these leads are freaking adorable. Seems like it has a tighter-than-usual narrative structure for a cdrama, (thank goodness). As a vegan the pig scenes were challenging. But overall I’m excited to see where this goes.
