Yes. Everything has decreased in size, freshness, and quality. Produce is especially terrible for us here.

We call it “driveway dumb.” My husband has zero brain power when he gets home from the hospital every day. She should have texted you. 😂
Gov. Caillou. 😂 😂 😂 My friends are funny. 😂
Our planting season is still technically a month away, but that’s next. 😂
You guys, I just ordered more plants. Apparently my midlife crisis during the rise of fascism includes becoming a crazy plant lady. I kept the entire last batch alive, though, so apparently this is growth. 😉
Idiots.
Cleaned my house, did some unpacking, played Pokopia, rejoined the Sharon Says So bookclub, ate some chocolate. Everything was fine. Opened Bluesky… HORROR. Ugh. Why does that orange toad have to put a damper on every single day?!? It’s like turning a corner with ice cream and getting hit by a bus.
Yes you should. If the church had a problem with them, they wouldn’t hesitate to say so. It’s gross, but harder and harder to deny.
I’m going to go with “How cult leaders keep control of their flock.” 😉
Well that’s just every kind of right wing bat 💩 crazy all wrapped up into one flyer, isn’t it?!?
Bigfoot silhouette on the side of a garage.
A peaceful lake house view.
Just got back from the lake and our teen’s admitted student weekend. I only burst into tears twice, so that’s progress. 😬 Also it was nice of our vrbo hosts to have exmo iconography to make us feel at home. 😂 CAIN!!!!
My son and I both read it years ago. So good.
Father of the Bride. It does not get old for me and I cry at the same two spots every time.
“One of the conundrums of life is that just because the big is happening doesn’t mean the small stops.” -Trevor Noah
If you haven’t watched his new Netflix special, do it right now.
My husband keeps seeing this with his colleagues at work. They won’t even read an entire email anymore and are trying to reduce their hours because they can’t read a full day of scans like they used to. It’s bad across the board and everyone is pretending it’s not a thing.
My little family has never had Covid. It feels like being the only sober ones at a party. There’s a noticeable difference in the ways people think and interact now. We need to face that nothing is going back to how it once was and adapt instead of living in this constant denial.
And it shows. There’s a reason no one can concentrate or read or even think for themselves and it feels like it’s gotten so much worse and instead of recognizing or preventing it, we’re outsourcing our thinking to tech companies who are anxious to oblige and profit.
We’ve had three this week. 😞
I feel seen.
How soundly a doodle sleeps when his family reserved a VRBO for the weekend just so that he could come on his boy’s college weekend, but they left him in a travel crate in the house instead of taking him to campus, so he had no choice but to chew his way out and wander the house in their absence. 🙄
Nothing like being out of town and seeing these tornado pictures less than two miles from your house pop up on social media. 😬 Have I mentioned I’m really not a fan of tornado season?!?
April here. You all rang? 😆
I knew when Sharon McMahon started getting sucked into the Utah celebrity machine that it was going to end badly. She’s not one to shy away from telling it how it is, and that feels uncomfy to the conservative right. They will turn on anyone for speaking the truth. Shame on them. This is ugly.
Without saying your age, post your favorite film that released the year you turned 18.
I’m not feeling so lucky since he’s my only one. 😔
Also I really love the thought of hubs telling his mother that I’m getting a PhD in the occult. Oh the pearl clutching. 😆 😇
Would you all love me more or less if I did a masters degree in medical history from Hopkins online and then the PhD program in Magic and Occult Science in Exeter, England? Guys. I’m seriously considering it, since I’m going to be an empty nester at the ripe old age of 48. Is this crazy? 😬 Discuss.
Also, throw those ice packs away. Life’s too short. 😆
We’ve tried them all. I tend to get bored with their selections pretty quickly and I agree, the packaging is ridiculous. We also consistently had problems with the freshness of the produce. I’m not actually tempted to do it again- I’m just proud of them for taking a stand.
