German LBBG at Anza beach. Ringed in 2015 on Föhr in the North Frisian islands, the last sighting was on nearby Amrum in 2017.

A 25 year-old Spanish Audouin's Gull at Aghroud. Ringed at Tarragona in June 2001, with only three sightings since then, all in Morocco.

Welsh-ringed LBBG blue F:208 (Flatholm) at Anza beach.

Isle of May ringed LBBG yellow T:3H6 at Anza beach (the only Scottish bird of the trip).

Icelandic-ringed Oystercatcher at Barassie, Troon this morning. Ringed in Önundarfjörður in the West Fjords in 2014, this is my first sighting of this one since 2020 at the same location #ringreading

German-ringed Med Gull at Meikle Craigs, Troon this morning. Ringed in Leipzig in June 2022, my first sighting of it since 2023. A bird that also turns up at West Wemyss. One of 41 Meds present, but the only colour ringed bird #ringreading

A nudge to ringers to reply to ring-readers would be welcome too - I've still to hear back on a ringed Sandwich Tern I reported two years ago!

I also got a few rings read including this Greylag at Blönduós, which has been seen in Orkney since being ringed in #iceland in 2024.

Blue Fulmar at Sandgerði #iceland Always wanted to see one of these, fortunately there was one among the hundreds and hundreds of Fulmars present.
