I love when I'm hungry, am surrounded by food, but none of it is the right food (whatever that means), so my brain just decides to stop functioning completely and reduce me to a crying child.

I've NEVER gotten it to work the way I've seen it in videos! Even on the simplest of drawings. Like to the point that it makes me wonder if those videos are fake marketing. Here's what it looks like with just the assist

So it doesn’t do the whole step. I can post a picture of what it does, but it does a VERY very rough estimate of where the shadows would go. Basically all of the shading here I did by hand.

I used the shade assist in Clip Studio Paint for once and I always forget how helpful that tool is. I would have never thought to use this purple color as a shade even for a night time scene. Normally I overlay everything in blue as a last step.
