Check the measurements for the finished garment on the next size, then you can compare those to a garment you already have and like. That would give you an overview on the amount of ease on the next size in comparison to something you already like. Happy knitting!

Alt text disappeared, but the video shows my wip from both sides. My sweater will be worn inside out, so in my case the main fabric is knitted in the round with knit sts and a row of purls was added before the rib.

Tiny Thursday tip: adding a knit row before 2x2 rib gives a neat transition from reversed stockinette to rib. Made me happy, so wanted to share with all who might have pondered a smooth solution for wonky ribbing. #knitsky #knitting 🧶

It was mostly fun, just knitting along stitch by stitch. Simple tweaks for sleeves and few messy situations with a dropped stitch were all the extras I needed 😊.

It's nice to hear that I'm not the only one. I opted for KnitPro both times, since i really wanted them to match. Sizing the same, but the fit..no way. Maybe it took me too long to splurge on these the second time.

Great haul! Isager soft fine is a great alternative for silk-mohair, I think it's less itchy

I don't do mittens often, so had to timetravel 11 years back to find my favorite pair for #showmeyourknits. The pattern "Pescovegetarian mitts" it's still available and free. I modified the chart and sizing for my long fingers but the look is close to the original. 🧶 #knitting

Funny thing was that when the set arrived and I saw the issue, i had a sudden flashback that maybe i heard about this somewhere or at least should have known better and do better research first.. Bums me out every time I block something.. Think if Lego would do stuff like this.

Knitting blocking mats laid on the floor. Pieces won't fit.

Still mad at KnitPro for the "new" blocking mats that have a lovely design that won't fit with the old ones. Fun fact: the measurements given are the same but they don't fit. Hope this reaches anyone considering adding mats to old ones, which came with T-pins.🧶 #knitsky #knitting
