The pathway is on private property and HRM Development Engineering staff negotiated to keep the pathway open during construction.
I don’t have an exact timeline but I was told very soon.

Here’s the “elephant in the room” with the outstanding (and FAST) growth in urban biking here in Paris — the tension between 2 NATURAL ALLIES, people on bikes and people walking, needs work, lest it become a political wedge issue. City Hall reminds everyone that pedestrians have priority EVERYWHERE.
