A big congratulations to Danielle Martin on her victory!
Her leadership and dedication as a physician and advocate will be a tremendous asset to our community and our country. I look forward to working together on behalf of the people of University–Rosedale.
On Yom HaShoah, we remember the six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust and honour the survivors. At a time of rising antisemitism and division, we are reminded that nothing is strengthened by hatred or intolerance—we only move forward when we uphold dignity, inclusion, and the well-being of all.
Happy Orthodox Easter to all those celebrating today!
Wishing a joyful and peaceful day to the Orthodox and Coptic communities of Toronto today, filled with family, renewal and blessings.
🚇CONSTRUCTION NOTICE for TTC riders🚧
There's no Line 2 subway service between Keele and St George stations this weekend (April 11–12). Shuttle buses will run & Dufferin Station will be closed. Service opens again on Monday.

Proud to see the University of Toronto ranked #1 in Canada & among the world’s best across all major subject areas.
This recognition reflects the incredible students, faculty, & innovation that make our community so strong. Congratulations to everyone at U of T! 👏

Wishing a joyful and peaceful Easter to all those celebrating!
May this season of renewal bring hope, unity, and happiness to you and your loved ones.
Transit shapes how we live every day.
That’s why I’ve worked to improve stations like Yonge-Bloor Station, St. George Station, and Spadina Station — making them more accessible and reliable.
Getting around should feel simple.
Get in touch with my office and learn more.

I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Stephen Lewis.
His moral clarity, compassion, and commitment to equity shaped generations.
Toronto, and the world, are better for his life’s work.
My thoughts are with his family and all who were inspired by him.
I wish to extend my warmest wishes to everyone in our community and across Toronto celebrating Eid Al-Fitr.
From my family to yours, I wish you peace, health, and happiness. Eid Mubarak.
I'm encouraged by the unanimous support for a $50 million investment for revitalizing Queen's Park North! Also encouraging to see such strong support for plans that preserve green space and ensure the park remains a temple for trees, while also improving this historic downtown park for everyone.🌳
The shootings at synagogues in the GTA are horrifying and unacceptable. Places of worship should be spaces of safety, not targets of violence.
We must stand together against antisemitism and hatred, which have no place in our communities or our country.
Honoured to join the Mayor’s Iftar yesterday evening. This was a wonderful gathering that brings our community together in the spirit of reflection, generosity, and unity during Ramadan. 🌙
Thank you to everyone who helped make this special evening possible. #Ramadan #Iftar #Toronto
Great to see so many people come out to last night’s open house on the revitalization of Queen’s Park North. Thank you for sharing your ideas and feedback on this vital public space.
I'm encouraged by strong support for preserving precious green space while improving the park for everyone. 🌳
As distant conflict brings pain & division at home, our history as Torontonians reminds us that friendship is stronger than discord. That’s why I’m working with Rev. Wendell Gibbs & other faith leaders to foster dialogue. Thank you to everyone who joined us and showed leadership in difficult times.
Congratulations to the Cecil Community Centre and Happy Black History Month!
I'm proud to support a 16% operating increase and an additional $100,000 grant to help strengthen their vital work.
