Malcolm Offord has claimed Anas Sarwar “bounced up to him” in Paisley Town Hall at the start of the election campaign and said “we need to work together, Reform and Labour, to remove the SNP”. Sarwar hasn't denied the claim. Labour is so right wing it's willing to cooperate with the far right.

It's the classic Mel Gibson and Jesus meme where Mel is on set in normal clothes casually chatting to a very bloody Jesus (for those of you who don't know it).

Child Poverty - Indy PosterBoy “The Scottish Child Payment was responsible for the biggest reduction in inequality caused by a single policy change since the collapse of the Berlin Wall.”

Has the BBC and specifically BBC Scotland ever reported on this? Asking for 5.3m friends. Read the news they're not telling you. #Scotland #SNP1SGP2

Astrud Gilberto was a housewife in 1964 when saxophonist Stan Getz decided he wanted his hit “Girl From Ipanema” to be sung in English — something her husband, Joao, who sang the original track, couldn’t do.

Sold 2 million copies.

Grim. One can only imagine what passes for ‘banter’ or ‘locker room talk’ when these ghouls converse in private.

Just listened to thjs excellent episode.

We desperately need to start taxing wealth. The private jet levy that the Greens got from the last budget is a start. We need independence to create a genuinely fair system though.

Four months ago, I committed to introducing a pilot of GP walk-in clinics.

Today I am opening Scotland's first walk-in GP clinic in Wester Hailes, Edinburgh - open seven days a week, 12-8pm, no appointments needed.

Thanks to our fantastic NHS staff for making this possible.

The National revealed that Starmer's allies at Labour Together were hiring investigators to look into journalists and writers back in September, in this great piece by Richard Sanders and Peter Oborne

These are the people running the country. It's bleak.

Gladys Mae West obituary: mathematician who pioneered GPS technology She made key contributions to US cold-war science despite facing huge barriers as a Black woman.

No joke: I got angry hate mail today for writing an obituary of a Black woman scientist—because the person felt she did didn’t deserve the recognition.

Which just makes me want to share it again: www.nature.com/articles/d41...
