We put these numbers into the Devolved Elections site & did our usual "What if 50% SNP2 voted SGP2 instead" scenario.
The SGP list MSPs would more than double to 24; a possible pro-indy supermajority.
All as the #SNP continue to poll for ZERO list MSPs.

Reminder: if some calamity should befall the SNP before 7th May & their vote drops, we could lose the pro-indy majority.
However, as we get more pro-indy MSPs with the #TwoPartyStrategy of #SNP1SGP2 or #SNP1Greens2 NOT #BothVotesSNP, we can avoid that scenario quite comfortably.
Whatever way you try to cut it, this is screwing the Indy movement out of having more MSPs and could even lose us the pro-indy majority if things go badly between now and May 7th. #SNP1SGP2 would maintain the majority with ease.

By average of most recent polling #SNP1SGP2 is more likely to be successful in all regions, even the Highlands. Only exception may be Edinburgh Central where I believe Greens lead SNP on constituency, so #SGP1SGP2 there.
To be clear, the other 11 times (12 now) the #SNP did not get a majority & only 1/14 14 did the SNP poll for any list seats - one. That's not stopping RefUK.

Constituency Vote? List Vote? How to maximise pro-indy MSPs and minimise unionist MSPS. The voting system used in Scottish general elections was explicitly set up by the Labour UK government in 1998* to prevent an SP majority in the Scottish Parliament. It is split into two votes.. constituency votes seats, whilst the Conservatives and Labour together won only 10 seats. However, due to their constituency vote success, the SP's 956,000 list votes were 'devalued' by the system and won • a Constituency vote similar to Westminster's 'First Past The Post' (FPTP) system (deciding 73 Holyrood seats). • and a Regional, or List vote, which uses the "Additional Member System' to select extra MSPs from a party list (deciding 56 Holyrood seats). A party may stand for list seats only if it wishes.
