Thanks Andy, it was rough out there today so pleased to get something
Many thanks Steve
Sorry it was Cowley road where I had it, X marks the spot next to a seat, but it was also off Coniston earlier this morning.
This was off Coniston Road, or the main channel beyond the boatyard
The second White-billed Diver today on the River Blyth. It took me quite awhile to get images as it kept itself distant in the main channel, but came a lot closer as it swam upriver early afternoon Thanks to @sudswatcher.bsky.social for the heads up. #NEbirding #UKbirding #RarebirdsUK
Does anyone have or is anyone aware of any photos or sightings of juvenile/ 2nd calendar year White-billed Divers during Jan-Feb 2026 from E Scotland or NE England? #birdingScotland #NEbirding #rarebirdsUK
It also has a lot more primary and secondaries John
Wow just heard there are two White-billed Divers at Blyth now
The diver and the Cormorants were bringing up a fair amount of dead, and parts of fish from around the jetty which suggested bycatch, crabs had probably been feeding on some of it
