A sparrow-like creature pokes its head out of what appears to be a large birdhouse. It's circled by tall, slender cypress trees, and is in the middle of a mediterranean garden.

The Gardener.

Second of two pieces I had the chance to make for Swords without Master - Fugitives of the Shattered Menagerie!

I CHOOSE TO SEE THE BEAUTY IN LITTLE THINGS.

MAYBE NOT CHOOSE BUT... I WANT TO. I'M TRYING TO...

SO I PRACTICE. I LOOK FOR IT WHERE EVER I CAN. IT'S WORK.

BUT MORE AND MORE OFTEN.. EVERY NOW AND THEN.

it gets easier.

The fact that every major police union endorsed Donald Trump is under appreciated in our political discourse.

LAPD Deployed Drones to Spy on No Kings Protest Flight records show that Los Angeles police dispatched drones 32 times over last month’s No Kings rally.

NEW: Flight data reveals that the LAPD's "Drone as First Responder" program—sold to the public as a public safety measure—is in fact being used to spy on anti-ICE/anti-Trump protests in Los Angeles.

One of the most famous mosasaurs, Tylosaurus proriger, submerges after taking a breath. It is dark above and light below, as tentatively suggested by some palaeocolour data. The challenges of interpreting scaly reptile palaeocolour, and the tiny scraps of colour data we have for this animal, preclude much confidence in chromatic interpretations of this species, however.

Also, if you stare at this long enough, you'll see a few sharks. No foolin'.

Been thinking marine-reptiley thoughts today. Here's one of my latest #paleoart efforts along that line: Tylosaurus proriger. The colour is based on fossil colour data, although it's far from certain that this animal was black and countershaded.

Hot take: i dont think "porn addiction" is real.

To me, it just seem like a made-up excuse for men to rely on when they get caught assaulting, harrasing, or cheating on women. They can blame "porn addiction" for their behavior, and they dont have to actually fix anything about their character.

Must be awesome believing in neoliberalism...just find the right guy to lead so things will be good. To those people it's simple, there's no angst: neoliberalism can't fail, it can only BE failed. You can't criticise your team's candidate and, when they lose, you STILL can't complain about them.

This news comes almost eight years to the day after the Sandy Hook families first filed their defamation lawsuit against Infowars. If the situation is as I believe it to be, the deal still has to be approved by a judge. More soon -

This is why transphobes care so much about gender nonconformity. They can only police gender if people believe it's possible to fail at their gender.

I can’t get over how this quartz looked like a theater with a rapt audience. You never knows what’s happening inside rocks, lol.

A CRT computer screen stands against a dark background. Through its screen, past various popups and error messages, a set of enormous human teeth can be seen. They do not appear to be on the screen, but somehow behind.
