#7drl day 5 : Enemies now lock their attack when the turn starts, so they can shoot or punch each other when you dodge. You can now manually select which card to play, or just autoselect from the grid. I also chose a name for the game and made a title screen !

#7drl day three : I spent most of the day working on card's mechanics. You can now use any cards but top cards have priority. The goal is to train during 14 days : build a deck strong enough to defeat a boss who probably wants to burn down your father's dojo

My first thought: “Nobody will buy a cassette in 2025.”
Turns out I was wrong.
The amazing people at @lostincult.co.uk (true indie publishing legends) loved the idea. ❤️
At some point I thought:
“What if I pick the most representative tracks from each game and make a compilation?”
Too many games → several volumes.
Compilation vibes → cassette was the obvious format.
For me, the challenge was personal:
👉 Work fast 🏃♂️
👉 Make decisions on the spot 🎯
👉 No more spending 2 months polishing a single melody 🎶
Each game needed a solid soundtrack, with room to try new styles & instruments — and above all, to have fun.
Four years later we’ve slowed down the pace a bit, but we still managed to release 25 games.
A wild ride I’ll never forget.
In 2021 I teamed up with @benjaminsoule.bsky.social and @curseofremy.bsky.social for a pretty wild idea: release a game every month with a subscription model. The project was called @PUNKCAKE_delice.
