Well that looks like it's gonna be great!

you ever spot a mistake on something you worked on that's already published... and you can never unsee it?
Screenshot of a procreate canvas showing a cropped drawing of a harpy-like monster with human teeth overlapped by an eagle's beak, screaming furiously.
Multiple sketches of the same harpy monster from various angles and with different expressions, showing how the human jaws and beak overlap and move independently.

Coloured digital drawing of a harpy-like monster with a set of skinless human jaws behind her beak.
random character design spotlight: Fortune the harpy. She owns a magic casino and traps people in debt servitude. I wanted to try the beak and human teeth thing and she's fun to draw.
Through various grapevines and no prime sources: Some weird broken stuff and/or a ddos attack.
Not sure. But, it's always a good time to remind folks where I can be found if one of these various platforms take a permanent dump or becomes unusable to me.
I exist in many places, follow me elsewhere because if this place collapses I will persist ~

Thanks~
Thank! :,)
An digital illustration of a scrubland/pinyon-junper woodland. There is shallow, flowing, water in a sandy wash with some large rocks. The plantlife is mostly rabbitbrush and big sagebrush, but pines, deciduous trees, and joshua trees are visible going further back toward the scrub covered hills. These plants communities combine in these spots between the biomes we more commonly think of, making them extremely biodiverse. While this particular landscape is based on the Mojave-San Gabriel Mountain transition zone, this particular place doesn't actually exist. Instead, the image is based on Puma Canyon (Phelan, CA) Lost Lake (San Bernardino, CA) and the drive up Lone Pine Canyon (Lytle Creek, CA)
A landscape I did for Transition Habitat.
This place doesn't actually exist though.
It's a made up landscape based on photos I took at Lost Lake, available photos of Puma Canyon, and my commute thru the San Gabriel Mountains.
A representation of the ecotone~

WHALE.
Whenever you think we've reached the maximum amount of fire, it turns out, there was actually, incredibly, room for even more fire.
One of my bestest buddies, studio mate, and business partner~
I do a guest design for her every time she invites me to do so. I did again.
Check out what she has going on if you're so inclined~

A page of midtone brown paper with several ink drawings of death feigning beetles.
The sketchbook is open on a table next to a glass of whisky or scotch for size comparison. The sketchbook is roughly 4-ish inches square.
Forgot I drew these suckers a while back. Cute little death feigning beetles. I love their texture and I love their blue waxy coloration.
What nice little dudes.

Devil's Punchbowl in Pearblossom, California. Rocky terrain. Lots of new growth and regrowth from the 2020 fire.
So sleepy...
Will comment and continue to do my best to be a massive thorn in the side of every phobe in my path.
(Part 1 of 2) Love your weird lakes! ⛰️🦐 Made this little comic for fun after some recent visits up north.

THIS IS VERY GOOD.
If you’ve ever complained about shipping prices, please take that energy and direct it to your elected representatives. Tell them to fight for more funding of the postal service!
If we lose the USPS it’s absolutely inevitable that shipping rates will increase with all carriers. 😤
I got home from con, went on one walk, and managed to sprain my mid-foot.
No one is sure how I managed this....
Art is a mirror, not a courtroom. If art makes you uncomfortable, it is not a moral failing of you or the creator, it is a challenging conversation to have with yourself.
People need to get used to having uncomfortable feelings instead of lashing out at others because of them.
Printing business cards for con and waited a long time in line for pickup because an older woman was struggling with a thing she needed to print because 'the ai added all this stuff' she didnt need and she couldn't get her initial text back because it 'didn't remember'.
...sounds real useful :/
I remember learning about the Hays Code in film school and how it made it so that any amoral protagonist had to meet karmic justice by the end of the film and going “wow, that’s really silly” and then once a week I log online and see people argue that we need stuff like that now or it’s problematic
For ppl who aren't aware:
Old temperate forests are insanely rare nowadays and extremely important ecosystems lost forever once cut.
They're not just "old trees" but intricate networks of trees, fungi and all kinds of living creatures.
You CANNOT replant this!! Once it's gone it's lost FOREVER!!!
He's just a little blond boy, my goodness!
A chubby teenager. He has a solemn expression. Both eyes are cloudy with what looks like cataracts.
Bog friend or... fiend!? A tree-like-ape-like-horned thing with a delightful lichen beard. He looks to our left at something off-screen, perhaps someone he's speaking to.
Missions for my frands, who have so graciously sacrificed their OCs as I make a more streamlined commission sheet.

Another small Condor oil painting. "Ugly" vulture heads are fun to paint!
One of my least favorite things around AI in video games is when these LLM idiots try to say that "AI has been in video games for decades," as if the routines that tell ghosts to chase Pac-Man are exactly the same as the chat bot claiming there are nine Rs in strawberry.
the true mark of ppl made art!
A tiny piece of debris varnished to a traditional painting.
A fiber varnished to a traditional painting.
A tiny brush hair or other debris varnished to a traditional painting.
Clean ur brush before varnishing :')
But also... next time you're in a museum, finding dust, cat hair, and brush fibers in them is cathartic lol
