That's some nice glass! If you can afford it then I'd say go for it. I was working on a budget here so I got a used RF 800 f/11 on MPB for $600.
That 100-500 L is much faster so you'd be able to shoot better in low light I imagine. And more versatility being a zoom lens and all.
