I get so excited about camera equipment. Yours is absolutely top notch. I’m a bit outdated but love all my gear. I do have a 600 mm f5.6. I weirdly, I use is on anything that I want the fore and background blurry and the focal point in clarity from one person and the person behind. Or trains. Lol.

Mirrorless. Absolutely limitless! That lens with a 2.8 F-stop will snap a humming bird wings full stop at 100 ft before the sun breaks. Lol. why your depth is wide. Most higher fstop lenses will focus spot on the head but lose its focal parameters by the body. Only thing better is 600mm f4.0.

I’m old school but I do prefer digital because it would cost me too much for all the shutters I click. I believe in numbers to achieve a good capture. Question, to get that depth of field, do you have a specific lens you love to use for birds? It has to be a long lens but a low Fstop capacity?

Oooo 300 characters will not be enough. Lol. Cellphone cameras have come a long way. They definitely have their place but they don’t do RAW format so they’re very limited in what you can do or size you can enlarge to. I have Canon 5 & 6D, and my generation x favourite 1970 Nikon F1 old school.

Mmmmm no one ever talks about the struggles with manual settings, shutter speed, ISO, f-stops, but your work shows you know the tricks of the trade and have great patience. I’m landscape but I appreciate the hard skill level of wildlife photography. It’s easy capturing a mountain that doesn’t move.☺️
